When Winter turns to Spring

Aurore, from the Brothers Grimm's 'Sleepng Beauty'. This painting is meant to represent the moment when she awakes from her slumber. I think this is a sad moment, because she is about to find out that her mother has died.

This is probably the best painting I have ever done, I really enjoyed painting it. This year at school I am focusing on the Brothers Grimm's Fairytales as my theme, so be prepared to see a lot of Grimm related art coming your way!
I didn't give up and use ink outlines! Are you proud of me??
